International Vienna Energy and Climate Forum 2023 - IVECF (2nd-3rd November)

Together with the UNFCCC secretariat, the NDE Germany introduces the Work Programme 2023-2027 on transformative industries of the Technology Executive (TEC). In the presentation, the TEC work plan is explained, especially focusing on the TEC work on the possibilities and cooperation of stakeholders for low and near zero emission solutions for hard to abate industries, especially, steel, cement and concrete. Dietram Oppelt, from the NDE Germany implementation team, and a member of the Technology Executive Committee shows pathways and solutions for the decarbonisation of steel, cement and concrete and emphasised the collaborative effort of the TEC looking for cooperation with stakeholders on developing recommendations and actions for the transition to low and near zero emission solutions in these sectors.
