Information event on waste and recycling management in India for German companies on 25 September in Bonn (copy 1)
This is a project-related funding measure, which is part of the Environmental Technologies Export Initiative and is implemented within the BMWi Market Development Programme for SMEs.
The event will provide German companies with comprehensive information on existing business opportunities, market development and general conditions in the field of waste and recycling management in India. On the basis of the information presented, SMEs in particular will be supported in exploring the opportunities and risks as well as preparing a business commitment for the target market of India.
Experts from India and Germany will give presentations on various topics, including climate protection.
In addition to the informative aspects, the networking idea will be in the foreground, as the event represents an excellent opportunity to establish contacts with experts and market insiders and to exchange experiences in the Indian business.
India is the largest democracy and the seventh largest economy in the world with a GDP growth of 7.3% in 2018. With 1.3 billion inhabitants, a wide variety of climates, diverse industries and cultures, and a dynamic economy, India is one of the most interesting markets for German technology providers in Asia.
Due to the increasing environmental awareness of Indian citizens, companies and administration, the demand for climate-friendly technologies is increasing. German companies, products and services enjoy a very good reputation in India and are still underrepresented in waste management. This opens up many undiscovered business opportunities, especially in consulting and the supply of special plant technology to large Indian waste management companies.
The day's event will take place on 25 September at the training centre of the Bundesverband der Sekundärrohstoffe und Entsorgung e.V. (Federal Association of Secondary Raw Materials and Disposal). (bvse) in Bonn.
For the all-day catering 30,00€ (incl. VAT) per participant will be charged.
The registration deadline is 06 September 2019.
